1. Commitment to achieving net zero

Artemis Solutions Limited is committed to achieving net zero emissions from its UK operations by 2050. Our plan focuses on equipment energy use, cloud resources, travel, purchasing and disposal.

2. How we work

We deliver software and technology services using cloud platforms and a small serviced office in Portsmouth. The office provider manages shared building services.

We switch off our computers after work. Our equipment measures also cover power-saving settings and safely switching off unused monitors and peripherals.

3. Practical reduction measures

  • Equipment: switch off computers after work, use power-saving settings and avoid leaving unused equipment running.
  • Cloud services: match capacity to actual demand and turn off non-production environments outside working hours where service requirements allow.
  • Travel: use online meetings where they meet the purpose, and choose rail or shared journeys for necessary visits where practical.
  • Purchasing: consider energy efficiency, repairability and whole-life cost, and keep suitable devices in use for longer.
  • Waste: reduce unnecessary printing, reuse equipment where suitable and use appropriate recycling or WEEE routes for items we replace.

4. Targets and progress

Our reporting period is Jun 29, 2026 to Jun 30, 2026. Our Quality Policy Objectives target 10% annual carbon reduction. Until a measured baseline is available, we will review delivery of these actions without claiming a percentage emissions reduction.

5. Emissions reporting

Company-level activity data is insufficient to calculate a reliable annual baseline. For our small shared office, the provider’s records do not identify Artemis’s share of building energy or waste.

Figures are unavailable for Scope 1, Scope 2 and required Scope 3 categories 4 (upstream transport), 5 (waste), 6 (business travel), 7 (commuting) and 9 (downstream transport). Unavailable figures are not reported as zero.

When reliable data is available, we will use the GHG Protocol operational-control approach and appropriate UK Government factors to calculate tCO2e. Homeworking will be identified separately from commuting.

6. Measures for customer contracts

These measures apply to customer delivery. For CSKL, our offer includes Azure UK hosting, quarterly Azure service-emissions reporting and non-production shutdown outside working hours where service requirements allow, targeting 50% fewer compute hours than an always-on service.

This is a compute-use target, not a measured carbon reduction. Customer requirements and service availability govern which environments can be switched off.

7. Responsibility, approval and review

The CISO / Compliance Team reviews this plan annually. Technical teams manage equipment and cloud settings. Purchasing and delivery teams apply the buying, meetings and travel measures. The review checks implementation, improvements and any change in emissions reporting.

The CISO / Compliance Team approved the approach and programme on Jun 29, 2026, effective Jun 30, 2026.
